The Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) organised the Academic Excellence Awards 2023 with the aim of recognising the true heroes of the Pakistani academic sphere. 

The event was graced by the honourable presence of Chief Guest, Governor Punjab Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman, and other prestigious guests, to celebrate the remarkable achievements of those individuals who have left an indelible mark on the international landscape through their remarkable achievements in the Times Higher Education Rankings and QS Rankings.
Rectors of winning universities received the awards as a token of appreciation by the APSUP. While the ceremony was graced by participation of highsly esteemed guests from academia, government, higher education regulatory authorities and international delegates.
